A Cloudy Day and Threat of TS's Day 3/18/2008

We have a threat of bad weather again but we didn't want to sit and wait for it so we went caching. We started out with a cache in Woolmarket at a car wash, then off to D'iberville for a cache at the Civic Center then another cache at a car wash.
Then we went to a local park in D'iberville for a cache and most of the park was taken up by FEMA and the trailers they brought into the area after Katrina. There was a sign at th entrance that listed all the church groups that visited the area to help with the recovery. We guess that the Northerners have no idea how lucky we are to only have snow and not something that is as destructive as Hurricane Katrina was. Like we said 2 1/2 years later and there is still so so many visible areas that are still in need of repair or complete rebuilding.
Next was a cache located near the interchange of I110 and I10, then one near a "Welcome to I'berville sign, and our last cache was a multi-cache that started out at a picnic and fishing area that overlooks Mobile Bay. Then it was off to a small cemetery not far away for stage 2 and then back to the same location at the park for stage 3 which was located out on the fishing pier. Then we were off back to the RV, and no TS's as yet, and I showered and Mom did the logs and now I am doing the blog. Well time to close for today and we would just like to say we miss you and love you all.
