Caching Today in Diamondhead, MS 3/26/2008

After I called CVS and ordered my prescriptions and made our campground reservations for the next 10 days we left to go caching and pick up my scripts. We drove to Pass Christian which is about 5 miles from here and did a cache in a church playground. Then we drove around looking at the damage this small town received from Katrina. Most of the damage was down by the bay and it was quite extensive. There was a Christian Conference Center right on the water that was completely gutted and still hasn't been touched as far as repair is concerned. Then we had to drive to Gulfport to CVS to get my scripts and then headed back to Diamondhead, MS to start caching there. Our first cache was at a fitness center, then on to a mutli-cache located at the local Xray labs, then a cache at DQ in a tree, on to a very unusual old cemetery. What made it unusual was that all the grave sites were enclosed in fences in family groups. There must have been 40-50 separate family burial plots there and all of them were enclosed in fences. Our last cache was located along an old abandoned road next to the Diamondhead Golf Course. Then it was back to the RV and we had lunch and Mom did the logs while I showered. We took it easy for the rest of the afternoon and we just got done with dinner. I am doing the blog and Mom is watching tv. The campgrounds has emptied out quite a bit from what it was over the weekend. The casino $2.49 buffet was mobbed today as we guess all the seniors in Bay St. Louis were there. Well time to say until tomorrow and we love you all.
