Some Caching, Dinners, Nice Visits & Hanging Around 8/20-30/2009

Well I bet you thought we forgot all about all you guys......well we didn't and here we are again. Hasn't been much going on with us except visiting the family and friends and having some great dinner. We finished our visit with Cody and Luke at Cross Lake CG with a dinner at Quaker Lube on Thursday night. We all had wings of different varieties with Cody and Luke having hot BBQ and hot. We dropped them off at home as we had an appointment to have a leaky water hose fixed on the coach on Friday morning and had to be there at 8:00 am sharp. We dropped it off at Camping World and went and ran a few errands and stopped to visit John & Chris Cashion. We picked the coach up about 1:00 and went back and set up again and went to Tim's for dinner. Saturday we did a little caching around Cato and Port Byron. Saturday night we went to dinner with Ceil and Mark at Angotti's Italian Restaurant. Sunday morning we packed up again and went to Tim's CG's for a 4 night stay. Sunday night we took the Faulkner's to eat to Twin Trees Too for pizza and salad which was a very good time. Monday we did a few errands, Mom went to Skaneateles with Judy for lunch and shopping and the Cashion's had us over for a dinner of hot dogs, hamburgs, salt potatoes and sweet corn. We had a nice time visiting and catching up and we are looking forward to having them visit MB again this fall. Tuesday we went caching and did 10 caches in Syracuse. Three of them were at churches on the church bell, one in a cemetery, 3 in small parks, one at a drug store, one at a lighting store and the other at a par 3 golf course. We had dinner with Tim's family that night as Tim was in Harrisburg for the engineering company on business. Wednesday Mom went to lunch with Barb and we had dinner with Ceil, Mark, Jeanette and Goerge at DelMonico's. GREAT steak too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Thursday we packed up and said our goodbys and we were off to Apalachin for our stay with Scott and his family. We had dinner with them Thursday night and then on Friday we went to check out the cottage they were renting for a week to see if there was enough room to park the coach so we could stay with them at the lake. Well there wasn't enough room as the roads were narrow and there were a lot of trees hanging out over and on the sides of the roads that we were afraid would scratch the coach and maybe worse so we decided to stay at there house and just visit. Friday afternoon they moved out there and Mom and I had dinner at home. Saturday we picked up some worms for fiahing and we were off to Beaver lake for a day with Scott and his family. We had a nice time just sitting on the lake watching Anna, Scott and Cory fish and just hung out with them. We had dinner there although Muffy and Raggs had to stay in the car as the owners didn't allow dogs in the cottage. We left about 7:00 and drove back to Scotts for the night.
Well that's about all the news that's fit to print and we would like to thank Melissa and Tim and there family for all their hospitality and great food. Well until next time we love and miss you all. Mom & Dad
