Last Day of Caching in Alabama....Going to Enterprise 2/10/2008

Well we left early in the morning to drive to Enterprise, Al for some caching and sightseeing and the first time we had a stop where I wanted to take a picture the darn camera wouldn't work. Don't know what happened it just wouldn't work and it was fine yesterday, guess it got tired of taking all those picture I have been taking. So we don't have any pictures to add to the blog today, darn it as we did see some interesting things. Well anyway our first cache was at an intersection of 2 highways where some of the local Army units show their unit pride by spray painting huge versions of their unit patch on the dividers of the intersection. Next was a cache in a shopping mall, then 2 caches on the fitness trail at Enterprise-Ozark Community College. Then it was on to a monument dedicated to the Army aviators. Next was a cache in a small park, then on to downtoen Enterprise and a cache located at the Wiregrass Central Railroad Train Depot which is now a museum. Then it was off to the Boll Weevil Monument and a virtual cache there. Next was a cache at the Coffee County Courthouse, then on to a cache commemorating the F3 tornado that tore through Enterprise last March leaving 8 high school students dead in the hallway of the school. Then on to another shopping center cache, a cache in a large park at another Veteran's Monument, a cache at the Department of Agriculture in New Brockton and lastly a two stage puzzle cache in and around New Brockton. We the headed back to the RV, had lunch, did our logs, did the blog and ate dinner. This has been a very nice stay here in Alabama and a great campground. Well time to close till tomorrow and we love you all.
