Arrived Safe and Sound in Ozark

We packed up and left about 10:00 this morning for our trip to Ozark Travel Park in guess where Alabama? We had a very leisurely trip as most of the driving was on the back roads of Georgia until we crossed the border into Alabama and then it was a very nice 4 lane road but not an interstate. We got here about noon there time as it is an hour earlier here than it is in the east. Got all set up, had lunch then went out for a ride around the town. Very lovely old town with a lot of old buildings and many many new stores and restaurants. We couldn't find a place to get the car washed though as we imagine they might have a water shortage here as there was 3 places but all of them were closed. Very nice campgrounds with concrete pads for the RV and all the hookups are on a small tower that has a night light on it. Lots of tornado warnings up to the north and west of us but they don't expect any of them to hit here. They do expect severe thunderstorms maybe tomorrow morning so we have the weather radio all tuned in. The tv schedule is all screwed up, at least for us it is, because its an hour earlier. We had dinner and I put the awning down just in case. Well time to say till tomorrow and we love you all.
