A Day of Rest 2/8/2008

We took the day off today from sightseeing and caching to get a few things done around the Rv and the car. We went out early and got the car washed and the oil changed then came back and cleaned the RV, had lunch and watched some tv. Mom went to the Dollar Store to pick up a few things and I was online looking for our next stop on our trip. We decided to go to Carrabelle Beach, FL on Tuesday and stay at the Ho Hum RV Resort for a week. It sems most of these rv resorts give you a much better price if you stay week than if you rent a space on a daily basis. At Carrabelle it's $26.00 daily and $156.00 for a week which figures out to about $22.00 a day so seeing as we are in no hurry we have been staying at these places on a weekly basis. We went to dinner at Applebees and then came back and watched tv for the rest of the evening. Very uneventful and I guess you could say boring compared to most of our days on the road.
