Traveling To Lake City, FL and A Little Caching 3/16/2010

We packed up in St Augustine and headed back up I95 ti I10 and then west across FL to Lake City and Oak and Pines RV Resort. One unfortunate thing that happened on the way was I had to go potty badly and there were absolutely NO rest stops along our route so it got so bad I pulled off at an exit and pulled into a gas staion/Wendy's. I parked , went potty and started to leave to get back on the road. Well I made a wrong turn and found myself in a U-turn at the Wendy's drive-thru. Well that was cute Dick!!!!!!!!!!! So we had to unload the car and then I was able to jockey the coach and dolly around the U-turn by going forward then backing up and driving up over the island in the center and was finally able to get it out. WOW some fun and we don't want to have to do that again. The campgrounds was very nice and wasn't crowded at all. They had large site with full hook-ups, wi-fi and cable. We got there about noon and got set up and headed out to do a few caches before dinner. We did 5 caches all located out in the rural area of Lake City. We can tell you this is a very very depressed area and the homes and shacks here are really terrible. The caches we did really were all NRV caches so we didn't have any history or pictures to share. We came back to the coach, showered, did logs, had dinner, watched TV and called it a day. So until next time we love and miss you all. Mom & Dad Dori & Dick
