Caching in Bay, St Louis, Waveland, Gulf Port & Pass Christian 3/24/2010

This morning we loaded up the GPS and were off into Bay St Louis first for a cache located in front of the Bay Waveland Yacht Club. Then it was across the bridge for 2 caches one under the end of the bridge and the other way out on the end of the point in a very scenic park. As we drove to this location there were empty lot after empty lot all along the road with a scattered few houses where people had rebuilt on there old property. Then it was into Pass Christian for a very clever cache located outside a cemetery in a bird house. Next was a cache at Gulf Park College in a tree. As you can see by the pictures the damage that Katrina caused as none of the buildings have been renovated as yet. Next cache was a multi-cache in Bayou Prk and then a cache at K Mart. Then it was back to Waveland, which is south of Bay St Louis for a cache under an oak tree along the ocean highway. Then we did caches at a Blue Star Memorial Highway Park, at a small park and at a Penguin ice machine. Sorry there wasn't anything awful interesting or historical today but a lot of that was wiped away by Katrina. Then it was back to the coach for lunch a little cleaning, dinner and watching TV. Well until next time we love and miss you all. Mom & Dad Dori & Dick
