Leaving Lake City and on Our Way to Mexico Beach, FL 3/18/2010

We packed up early as it was a 210 mile drive from Lake City to Mexico Beach. It was an uneventful drive all the way to Rustic Sands Campgrounds until we pulled into the road leading to the campgrounds. Well the coach rocked from side to side and a jar of spaghetti sauce flew out of the cupboard and went all over everything and I do mean everything. Well we checked in and drove to our site but there was a trailer on it. We the owner was supposed to move it but hadn't as yet and we had a mess to clean up. We parked and started to clean up while they found someone to move the trailer. Luckily we had throw rugs over our carpet so it didn't go on the carpet itself to badly. We the rugs were ruined and we tossed them. We got all the loose sauce cleaned up and Mom looked and it had spattered on the ceiling. So I had to clean that while Mom went out and got another bottle of upholstery cleaner. What a job that was doing it with a scrub brush in 2 or 3 applications but it did finally come out after about 2 hours. About halfway through cleaning the mess they did move the trailer so we were able to pull in and set up and then finished our clean up. Well we finally got it all cleaned up and by that time it was late so we didn't get a chance to get out and do anything and as I said our other rugs were history. It was late so I showered and we fixed dinner, ate and watched TV and called it a day. Until tomorrow from Mexico Beach we love and miss you all. Mom & Dad Dori & Dick
