Rain, Rain and a Little Caching and Sightseeing 3/12/2010

Well as you can see it didn't rain quite as much as it did yesterday so we decided to go to Jekyll Island to do a little caching between the raindrops. We found 4 caches of not much NRV as we have been here before last year. Some of the caches we were going to look for were ones that we had looked for last year and for one reason or another did not find or didn't even go after. Once we were done caching we saw that there was an Arts & Crafts show in town so we stopped there to look around. Well if that wasn't ridiculous. They said in the ad hundreds of crafters, well we got there and all they had was one. We took a quick look and left, oh they did have a bake sale and a food booth. Hamburgers and hot dogs $5.00 each and at the bake sale a thin slice of cake for .75c. Wow now we know why the island charges $5.00 to drive onto it, what they call a "Parking Fee". Well we said goodbye to Jekyll Island and back to the coach for the day. Well until next time we love and miss you all. Mom & Dad Dori & Dick
