Caching In And Around Robertsdale 3/22/2010

Today was the only day to cache in Robertsdale so we loaded the GPS with caches and away we went with Muffy and Raggs. There really weren't any histroical caches as most of them were NRV caches. We did have one cache that was rated 4 out of 5 that we did and from what we understood we were only the second cachers to find it without a extra hint so that was today's accomplishment although the first cache we found today was our 3300th find so I guess that qualifies also. The rest of the caches were in a church, several along a paved bike trail, one under a pecan tree (now we know what a pecan tree looks like although it was dead), one along a country creek (which was named Toothache Creek), several in small local parks and some near local businesses. So as you can see there really wasn't any local history that we got involved in at all. We didn't even see any older homes in the town. After we got done we drove back to the coach, had lunch, did our logging, showered, had dinner and watched TV. So until next time we love and miss you all. Mom & Dad Dori & Dick
