Our Last Day in Omaha 8/19/2010

This was our last day visiting Dave in Omaha so we were taking them out to lunch and making dinner for them. We did go and find a cache in a cemetery on our way over to there house this morning. We hung around for awhile and then headed out in Jan's Mercedes for lunch. We took them to a lovely small Italian restaurant in Keystone, NE by the name of Bella Vita. They had been there before and like they had said the food was wonderful. I had lasagna, Mom had calamari and Jan and Dave split a chicken with pesto and pasta dish. After lunch we stopped and got some great chocolate chip cookies and Dave stopped and picked up a video for the weekend. Then we headed back to his house and Mom and Jan went shopping, Dave mowed the back forty and I watched TV. We fixed rueben sandwiches for dinner along with some bruschetta. For dessert we had picked up a home made raspberry pie along with vanilla ice cream. Then we said our goodbyes and headed back to the coach for the night. It really was GREAT seeing Jan and Dave and they both look wonderful. They always treat us so good when we visit them and it's to bad we live 1200 miles away.
