On Our Way to Omaha, NE and a Visit With My Brother and his Lovely Wife 8/14/2010

We packed up this morning and were off south on I-29 to Omaha. We had a trip of 115 miles into Gretna, NE where we were staying at the West Omaha KOA. It was a smooth trip as we saw quite a few bikers heading back from The Surgis Motorcycle Rally and we also saw 2 hydroplanes on trucks heading home after racing in Washington state. We got to the campgrounds, checked in and got set up and were all done about noon. The campgrounds is fair as there is no cable, wi-fi is good, sites aren't very level and the water pressure stinks. The bathrooms are very nice and clean and it's a pleasure to see that. After we showered and I shaved we went over to my brother's house. It was great to see him and his lovely wife Jan and they both looked great. They took us out for lunch to a local Irish Pub and then we went back to there house and sat around the rest of the afternoon talking. We went to a friend of theirs for dinner, Linda and Ed who we met last time we were here in 2004. We also saw Sue, John, Glenn, Bev and several of their neighbors. We had drinks, sandwiches and several yummy desserts. We left about 9 and went back to Dave's to pick up our car and we headed back to the coach. Well until next time we love and miss all you guys.
