Another Caching Day in Mitchell and a New Month 8/1/2010

We headed into Mitchell again this morning to finish the caches in and around the downtown area. Our first cache was at a local business in an electrical box that was locked with a combination lock and by looking at the cache page, which had a clue on it, you could open it to sign the log book. Next was a cache in a small park in the rafters of the pavillion, next was a cache in a downtown alley, then a multi-cache at the local Elk's Lodge. Next was a cache in the Rotary Club Park across from the Corn Palace, next was a cache on a bench along a walking path near the high schoolwhose nickname, believe it or not is the "kernals". Next was a cache in a mall parking lot under a light post skirt and our last cache was a 3 stage multi with all the stages in and around a shopping center. Well unfortunately nothing very historical or really interesting today. After we were finished caching we drove around the downtown area taking pictures of the older buildings, churches and homes. Also I put the pictures on of the James River and Firesteel Creek flooding about 2 miles outside of Mitchell. Also take a look at the size of that huge mosquito.....he was man-eater. Ater we finished in downtown Mitchell we headed back to the coach for the rest of the day. Well until tomorrow from Mitchell we love and miss you all. Mom & Dad Dori & Dick
