Well Here We Are in The Lone Star State 4/13/2010

We packed up in Sulphur after we cleaned the windows and got the bugs off the front of the RV and headed for Texas. We crossed the border into Texas and to tell you the truth it didn't look any different than LA, at least not right now it didn't. The trip was uneventful down I10. The only thing that was kind of different was the exits off the interstate. Instead of going off and looping around to a main road the exits went right straight off onto a main road into merging traffic. We are staying at the Hidden Lake RV Park which is very nice. We got registered and set-up, had lunch and loaded some caches and off we went toward Wally World. We only did 4 caches and 3 of them were in a large park outside the city. One was in the woods just off the road, another in the woods along a trail and the last one was a virtual at a 911 memorial, which was beautiful (see pictures). We did take a walk through a lovely botanical garden in the park that had a lovely waterfall along the trail. The other cache we did was outside the park on a tree. Then it was off to WalMart and picking up some groceries. After we drove back to the coach for the afternoon, did logs, showered, had dinner and watched TV. Well that's about it for today so until tomorrow we love and miss you all. Mom & Dad Dori & Dick
