Kemah Boardwalk and A Few Caches 4/21/2010

This morning we weren't in any rush to get out of the coach as we had plans to just go to Kemah and walk the boardwalk and go in the shops. We did try and go to the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center but it cost $5.00 just to park and $20.00 each to walk in the door, so we bagged it. We did stop across the street and look at the Columbia Astronauts Space Mission Memorial where we had a virtual cache. It was kind of in a funny spot outside a office building along the main road and you really would never know about it unless someone told you where it was. After we did that cache we stopped and found 2 more on our way over to the Kemah Boardwalk. We parked and started walking and Mom went in the shops while I just sat and watched the world go by. We were there for about an hour and a half and after we got done we went back to the coach and had lunch. Then it was the usual afternoon routine until dinner. We ate and watched TV and turned in.
