Caching in Lake Charles Again 4/11/2010

This morning we again drove into Lake Charles to finish some of the caches we hadn't looked for. Our first cache was a virtual where you had to find a larger than life fiberglass alligator and take a picture of it, take the coords where you found it and locate the name and artist. There are 70 of the alligators in and around Lake Charles which were put out and decorated by local artists back in 2002. There aren't very many left as stealing, hurricanes and wear and tear have eliminated many of them, but we finally found one and got our information. Then it was on to the rest of the caches, sadly enough all NRV. Caches we found in places like the first Krogers Grocery in Lake Charles, behind another grocery, an Australian tanning shop, Mexican restaurant, a church, a vacated Dodge dealership, a light pole at McNeese State University, Lowe's, Olive Garden, Roadhouse Grill Restaurant, a dead end road on a barricade and a oil changing store. Sorry again as there wasn't much to report from here again but like we have said things will get better. So it was on back to the coach for the afternoon and we ate lunch, did logs, showered, watched Phil Mickelson win his 3rd Masters Championship (also love Woods falling flat on his big fat face), had dinner and watched TV. Incidently the last picture today is of a political sign on a trailer in front of a local business here in Sulphur. So until tomorrow we love and miss you all. Mom & Dad Dori & Dick
