We left Harrison Bay SP early because we had a drive of about 175 miles as we were headed to Lawrenceburg, TN and a stay at the Davy Crockett SP. We got there about 12:30 and registered and drove up to the campgrounds and found that it was about half full. We finally found a site that looked somewhat nearly level and it took me about 3 tries to get the coach anywhere near level. What a pain in the butt that they don't attempt to get these sites somewhat level when they make them as they have to bring stone and blacktop in anyway to do them with, why not try and get them level. Well you suppose it might be the location of the country we are in that has something to do with answering that question? Well anyway most of the sites were sloped to the back and we found it very hard to get the coach level but we finally did. After we ate lunch and showered we took a drive into Lawrenceburg and took a look around to see what there was to see......not a hell of a lot. We stopped at a grocery to pick up milk and bread and then headed back to the coach. We went to a restaurant here in the park run by the state for a buffet tonight, which we must say wasn't to bad. They had salads and fixins, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn bread, french fries, fried shrimp, ribs, catfish, some vegtable dishes and desserts. After dinner we went back to the coach and turned in as we couldn't get Direct TV to come in because of the trees so we have to rough it for 3 days. Well time to say until tomorrow we love you all.
