Friday we stayed at the coach and did a few of the chores that crop up occasionally around the coach. Mom cleaned and I was washing windows and wiping the coach down. Janet and Doug were coming in on Friday night and we were cooking dinner so we got some things cooked ahead of time. They got here about 6:00 and got all set up and came down to see us and have dinner with us. We had steak sandwiches with mushrooms and onions and a veggie dish Mom prepared out of summer squash & zucchini where she cooks it in a fry pan and then mixes it with cheese and bakes it in the oven. We sat around and had a few drinks and caught up on things. They went back to there trailer about 10:00 as they were tired and we also turned in.
Saturday about all we did was hang around and visit with them and had a great time. Mom, Janet, Doug and Oscar (their yellow lab) went to the beach and Doug did some surf fishing but didn't catch anything. I stayed at the coach and watched college football as my back really seems to hurt when I walk although it is funny as it doesn't happen all the time. Oscar swam in the ocean and then rolled in the sand and Mom and Janet sat and talked. Doug cooked dinner for us and it was wonderful. We had scallops wrapped in bacon with a chutney sauce and a seafood medley over rice with dinner rolls. We simply loved it as it was nice fresh seafood and I made a pig of myself. We sat around and had a few beers and that was a mistake as I fell asleep in their recliner so we came back to the coach about 9:00. I watched some NCAA football and then fell asleep and Mom turned in and watched TV in bed. Well until next time we will say goodbye and we love you and miss you all. Mom & Dad
