I was unable to put anymore text or pictures on our Sightseeing in Waves blog entry so I have continued it here along with the picture list.


Picture List:1,2,3-Welcome to Chicamacomico Life Saving Station Historic Site signs, 4-Old Rudder from a wrecked ship, 5-Front of Station, 6-Back of Station, 7-U.S. Coast Guard sign, 8-Main Station dates, 9-Piece of a ship wreck sign which is sitting on the front of the table in the next picture, 10-Old artifacts used at the Station along with the ship wreck wood, 11-Compasses, 12-Artifacts from ships, 13-A "FID" a tool to assist in making knots and some palm leather, 14-Old Lanterns, 15-Old bed Circa late 1800's used in Kitty Hawk, 16,17-Old Uniforms worn by the surfmen.
