Going Home, Golf, Caching & Hanging Around 6/29-7/02/2008

Sunday we started for home but not before Anna and Kaitlin had talked tired old Mom, she slept with them again Saturday night, into going to breakfast. Mom said they would go to McDonald's but the girls said awwwwwwwwwwww Grandma we would like pancakes and sausage and they are much better at the Blue Dolphin Diner. So, of course, Grandma took them. They had a nice breakfast and everybody ate well. After they got back we packed up and headed back to Tims. We got back about noon and got unpacked and just hung around the rest of the day and watched TV. We went to dinner with Ceil and Mark to Delaney's Restaurant in Weedsport on the river. Dinner was good and I got a HUGE piece of lasagna and had lots leftover.
Monday we ran a few errands and made a clipping appointment for Muffy and Raggs and went out to Camping World to exchange something and we had a few questions about the roof on the RV and how it should be maintained and how often. After we got back we just hung around again and watched TV. We had shish kabobs for dinner and they were excellent.
Tuesday I played golf with George at The Links at Sunset Ridge and Mom had breakfast with an old friend, Ida. I know the golf wasn't as good as breakfast and we will leave it at that. Bad bad round. We had sausage sandwiches, watermelon, and rice for dinner and we had to eat early as Rosie and Nikki had a lacrosse game, which they won. Rosie is being groomed as the next goalie for the high school girl's team.
Wednesday we went caching around Camillus and out into the Baldwinsville area. Our first 2 caches were at Reed Webster Park in Amboy and were in the woods, next cache was off Hencle Blvd in a small park near the park sign, next cache was located down a dirt bike trail way back in the woods in a knot hole on a fallen tree, the next cache was also located off a side road in the woods, next was a cache in the ground in a plastic tube with a pine cone fastened to the top of it and the last cache was hidden in a split in a tree and was a small camoed packet with the log inside it. We drove on back to the RV and Mom did the logs and I am doing the blog now. Not sure what we are having for dinner but I'm sure it will be good. We are doing the cooking tomorrow night and are having oven fried chicken and pasta salad.
Well time to say until next time and sorry we don't have any pictures as we didn't really visit any interesting or historical sites and we love you all and miss everybody.
