On Our Way to Wall, SD

We packed up this morning and were on our way about 10:00 to Wall, SD, the home of the world famous Wall Drug Co started in 1931. It was a nice drive of about 70 miles along I-90 and we got there about noon. We got all set up, had lunch and then took a trip to the Wall Food Center, seeing as they had no Wal Mart here, and stocked up on a few things for the week. Wall is a very small town of 808 people but they do have the world famous Wall Drug Co. After we stopped at the store we drove around town looking at the Wall Drug Co and all its affiliated stores. We are right on the edge of the Buffalo Gap National Grasslands so we took a drive toward the Badlands National Park which was anout 8 miles from Wall. See the Badlands National Park is situated in the inside the Buffalo Gap National Grasslands. After we drove back to town we did have a multi-cache to do so we went and did that which was only 2 stages so it was quick and easy. Then we drove back to the coach for the rest of the afternoon. We are staying at the Sleepy Hollow RV Park about a block from Wall. The campgrounds has only 54 sites but they are all pull-thru with full hookups, GREAT cable and good wi-fi. They have excellent showers, so nice and clean and bright and they have a pool also. There seems to be a lot people who come in set up and head for Wall so tomorrow we will have to see what all the fuss is about. Well that's about all for today from Wall, SD so until tomorrow we love and miss you all. Mom & Dad Dori & Dick
