Black Hills of South Dakota Here We Come 7/14/2010

We packed up this morning in Sundance, loaded the car on the dolly and we were off east on I-90 to Hermosa, SD and the Black Hills of South Dakota. It was a fairly short drive of 95 miles into Rapid City and down RT-79 to Hermosa about 18 south. We are staying at Heartland RV Park and Campground just outside of Hermosa a town of 315. We got here about 11:30, set up, had lunch and were off back into Rapid City to Wally World as we were about out of groceries and the only store in Hermosa was Pop's Market. We drove into Rapid City and I dropped Mom off and went and got gas for the car. I had to wait awhile for her after I got back and we drove back out to the campgrounds. The campgrounds is nice, the sites are large but no trees which is OK with us as the cottonwood trees were getting the best of us as far as making the RV and car a mess. The bathrooms are very nice and clean but the showers are a little tight, the tv is marginal as they have Direct TV and our reception is rather fuzzy. The wi-fi wasn't working when we got here but it is now and is very good. Well that's about it for today from Hermosa so until tomorrow we miss and love you all. Mom & Dad Dori & Dick
