On The Road North Bound For Oklahoma 5/21/2010

We were on the road fairly early this morning hoping to beat the heat and get set up before it got to warm. We headed north out of Fort Worth and toward our first stop in Ardmore, OK for 4 nights. We are staying at the Hidden Lakes RV Park about 3 miles outside of Ardmore which sits on a small well stocked bass fishing lake. We got here about noon and were set up by 12:30. The first thing that Mom picked up when we went in to register was the tornado shelter guide as we are in what is commonly known as "Tornado Alley". The camprgounds is very nice as we have a site on top of a small hill overlooking the lake. The bathrooms are GREAT and the cable and wi-fi are fine. We had lunch and then had to take Muffy to the vets as her ear is acting up again. We had made an appointment for 3:30 for her before we left Fort Worth with a well recommended animal clinic. We took her and she ended up getting an antibiotic, some prednisone and some ear salve. They cleaned the ear good and we were on our way back to the coach for the evening.
