Across The Texas Hill Country to Austin 5/7/2010

This morning we packed up and off we went across the Texas Hill Country toward Austin for a weeks stay. It was a nice trip along the top of the Hill Country with huge ranch after huge ranch on either side as we drove along. We got there about noon and boy was it hot there. The temperature hit 97 today just a little to hot for me. We immediately called Pet Smart and made an appointment for Muffy and Raggs to have them trimmed as the heat was really bothering them especially Muffy. We had lunch and watched TV for awhile and took them over and dropped them off. We came back to the coach for the 2 1/2 hours it was going to be to have them groomed. Pet Smart called a little early and we went over and picked them up and drove back to the campgrounds. We are staying at Oak Forest RV Park and it is a great park. Big sites, huge showers and bathrooms, nice and clean and new, pool, hot tub, shuffleboard, cable and wi-fi. Everything you could ask for in a campgrounds and more.
