Caching In and Around Burleson 5/15/2010

This morning we took a bunch of caches and off we went to explore the small town we are staying near. Unfortunately there were only a few caches that are worth mentioning. We had a 3 caches located on guardrails, 1 in a rest area on I35, 2 under light post skirts, and several located at different spots in and around trees. There were 2 caches in local small cemeteries. One was Bethesda Cemetery where we did a multi-cache. We saw head stones dating back to the late 1800's and several very young children again who had passed away at an early age. The other was Praire Spring Cemetery that was opened in 1857. I couldn't find any history on either cemetery so I can't tell you much about them. After we finished caching we drove around Burleson looking at the historic section of the town. It still has a little history left there with a train depot, several older buildings and a Hometown Grocery Store. Well that's about all from here for today so until tomorrow we love and miss you all. Mom & Dad Dori & Dick
