Blood Work, Breakfast & Botanic Gardens 5/20/2010

We had to leave the coach early this morning to go and have blood work done as our doctor in MB gave us each an order to have it done 6 months after we had seen her. We got there about 8:10 after wading our way through the unbelievable morning traffic and we walked out about 8:30 much to the annoyance of everybody else sitting in the waiting room that had been there well before us, but we had made an appointment, thank goodness. After we left we stopped at McDonald's and got something for breakfast as we had to fast. Then we drove over to the AAA office and picked up some information on NE, MO, KS, CO and WY for our future route. Then we drove down to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and Observatory that we had done a cache in earlier in the week. Mom wanted to walk through a few more of the gardens and see how lovely they were. After we were done there we drove back to the coach for the day. We just hung around the rest of the day and kind of vegged out. We did stop and bought a weather radio as we figured the number of tornados that had been in and around us we probably should have one. Thank goodness we did as there was a tornado warning for our area yesterday afternoon and evening but the closest they got was 40 miles away to the south. Thank heavens for small favors. Well I guess that's about it for today so until tomorrow we love and miss you all.
