Well our first day in Amish country and we were off to see if there were any interesting caches in the area. Well I'll tell you there weren't many today at all. In fact the only interesting one was our first one which was a virtual that took us to Gap, Pa and the Town Clock. The Gap Town Clock, built in 1892, is a Lancaster County Historic Preservation Trust Site located in Gap. According to the Gap Clock Tower Association, "The clock's face, long telling the time to passing multitudes, overlooks, at the gap, William Penns' entrance into Conestoga, now Lancaster County, in 1701.".
Then it was on to a bunch of NRV caches in a park, another park, a pile of rocks, a tre, under a guardrail and at a Target. It was a good thing I found a couple of them as there was one with a huge rubber spider attached to it and another that had a rubber snake stuffed into the container. We did see some old buildings, a little bit of the Amish way of living and a covered bridge as you can see by the pictures. I will do a blog on the Amish people who are really have a fascinating way of life and you get to respect it even more when you see it first hand. Well it was back to the RV for lunch and our usual afternoon and evening routine. So until next time we love you and miss you all. Love Mom & Dad
