Arrival in Campbell, New York 5/16/2009

We got up early in the morning to finish our trip up to NY as we could check in early. The drive was again not bad at all although there was a little up, down and around the Appalachain Mountains which is really hell on the gas mileage. Oh by the way we see that gas prices are starting to shoot upward as we paid $2. 45 in PA just before we crossed the border into NY. Damn gas dealers, the Memorial Day weekend is coming up and up go the stinking prices. We got to Campbell about 12:30 and set up, had lunch and we were off to Wegmans. Yippee finally a decent grocery store to shop at and Mom made me stay in the car. She did our shopping and sMuffy, Raggs and myself sat and watched the world go round. Oh well. We drove back to the RV and just as we got back the weather turned really ugly as the wind came up, thunder and lightening and some heavy rain but it blew through quickly. We had a little rain the rest of the afternoon but nothing to bad. I watched the Yankee-Twins game and it was time for dinner. We ate and spent the evening watching TV.
