First Day of Caching in Corning 5/17/2009

Mom and I left this morning to drive into Corning to do a few caches as we figured it would be a good day as there wouldn't be to many people around and we were right .....completely dead. We did do a couple of nice multi-caches the first at a old fire house which is now a museum and the other at a historic home in Corning. The rest of our caches were NRV's with 3 inside small parks, one on the stage equipment in the Market Square, one at a church, one in a phone booth, one on a telephone pole, one in a light post skirt and the last one at a fairly old train depot that didn't have a name. We did do a great multi-cache that had 7 steps to it at different historical or interesting sites in the downtown area but when we went to find the fianl cache we couldn't find it. We did find out later that it had been stolen so we didn't feel to bad. Then it was back to the coach for lunch and our usual afternoon and evening routine.
