Moving Day to Ebenezer Park in Rock Hill, SC 3/10/2009
We got out of the "Oasis" as quick as we could this morning and headed west to Rock Hill, SC. It was about a 2 1/2-3 hour drive and we got to the park about 12:30. Ebenezer RV Park is not like all the other campgrounds we have stayed in before. It is a county owned park and when you get there you drive in and find your site, hook-up and the rangers come around later in the evening and collect your fee. Now the fee is another thing....it is only $10.00 per night for senior citizens. The campground is very lovely as it sits on Lake Wylie a first class largemouth bass fishing site. It has showers, rest rooms, water, sewer and electric so we have all the conveniences of home. The only thing was is that most of the better sites overlooking the water were 50 amp sites and we didn't have a converter as our coach is 30 amp. So off we went to get one. We got back and got all set up and I did the blog and looked at caches for tomorrow and we were off to a local seafood restaurant for dinner. Mom had flounder and I had shrimp and oysters and everything was very good. We drove back and that was it for the day. Oh by the way not only do we get satellite here we get local stations through the antenna. Well until tomorrow this is Mom and Dad saying we love you and miss you all.
