Saturday we just hung around the coach in the A/C as it was very very hot and humid and we didn't really have anything we wanted to do. I watched some college football and Mom read and watched TV in the bedroom.
Sunday we packed up and were off to Surf City, NC and our last campgrounds before we get to MB. It was an uneventful trip and we did drive through Camp LeJune the Marine Corps base along the way. As you drove along you can see where families had hung signs on the fences bordering the base welcoming home their loved ones and it was quite touching. We got here about 12:30 and got set up and I hooked the cable up and got all set to watch the NFL and NO CABLE as advertised. Well I guess the cable is for seasonal campers only and has to be handled thru the cable company. Oh well!!!!!!! I watched the Giants-Raiders game on the computer as best I could and then we watched Direct TV. We went out to a great deli for hot pastrami sandwiches only to find they were closed when they were supposed to be open until 7:30.....my day was not going well. We came back and had hot dogs. Well at least the Yankees closed out the Twins tonight so the day wasn't a total loss and it's on to the series with the Angels. It will be a rough one for them. Well that's about it for the day so we will close for now and we love and miss you all. Mom & Dad Dori & Dick
