Our 3000th Cache in Leola, PA.......Hey Janet This Pictures for YOU 9/17/2009

We went out this morning for our last day of caching in PA as we are off to Delaware on Saturday. Our first cache was at Asbury Methodist Cemetery c1821 also names Civil War Veteran's Cemetery where there are 8 Civil War Vets buried and also several young children. This church ceased to be the church structure, after being turned into a dwelling house and it burned down and was later torn apart, though a portion still stands in late years. Then it was on to Intercourse, PA and 3 caches there in a light pole, at the welcome to sign and a local store. Next was a cache at Ridgeview Church and then it was off to the soft pretzel store, a small store we found in the spring run by the Amish and they make soft pretzels baked in butter that are to die for. We got a half dozen and then were off to the next cache eating on the way. Next was our 3000th cache in Leola, PA in a small park where we took a couple of pictures and were off. Next a cache in a huge pine tree, then one under a small bridge connecting a parking lot and housing development, one across from a Dunkin Donuts, one in a phone booth, then we drove into the suburbs of Lancaster and 3 caches in a huge industrial park. That was it for the day and we were off back to the coach for the afternoon. Well time to say until next time we love and miss you all. Mom & Dad......Dori & Dick
