Hanging Around and a Visit to the Amish Bakery 9/18/2009
Today we just hung around the coach and ran a few errands. We had to get gas for the car as it was only $2.34 in Gap, PA, the cheapest we had seen in a long time. Mom had to stop at the dollar store and she did our laundry. We stopped at the Amish bakery and picked up our coconut custard and black raspberry pies and also got some molasses cookies and a head of cauliflower. I came back to the coach while Mom did the wash and I made all the rest of our reservations for the trip back to MB. We did decide to get there 2 weeks earlier than planned as most of the campgrounds along the Outer Banks were either crumby or way way to expensive to stay in. We are planning on taking the ferries from Hatteras Island to Ocracoke Island and then from Ocracoke Island to Cedar Point, that trip is a 2 1/2 hour trip so that should be nice as long as it's not to rough. When Mom got home we had some of the cauliflower for lunch which was out of this world. It had come from an Amish farm and was simply delicious. That was about it for the day and I am working on our past blogs as well as todays. So until next time we love you all. Mom & Dad Dori & Dick
