On Our Way To Loveland, CO 6/18/2010

This morning we got up early as we wanted to wash the coach to get the lousy cottonwood tree sap off of it before we were on our way north. The coach was a mess from all the cotton blowing around and the sap making it stick all over. You could hardly see out the windows and I washed them on Sunday or Monday. We got everything out and I washed as Mom rinsed and we got it done in about 30 minutes and it looks great now. After we finished we packed up and were off up I-25 and through Denver to Loveland, CO. The trip was not bad although we ran into a traffic jam in Denver that held us up for about half hour. We got to the Riverview RV Park & Campgrounds about 1:00. It is right on the Big Thompson River and is a great setting. We set up, had lunch and went to have the car washed and check Loveland out. After we were done we drove back to the coach. The campgrounds is about 10 miles outside the town so it's nice and quiet. It's a great place as the sites are large, wi-fi works good, good cable and clean large bathrooms. We found a great 50's diner to eat at called Fatso's so about 6:00 we drove into town to eat. Had a good dinner of cheeseburgers, fries and onion rings and they even had a 50-60's car show there. After dinner we walked around looking at the cars and remembering when. Back to the coach and we saw 3 huge elk eating in the yard of a house along the highway so we stopped and took some pictures. Boy were they big. Back to the coach for the day so that's it from here for now so until tomorrow we love and miss you all. Mom & Dad Dori & Dick
