We left for Myrtle Beach about 9:30 as we are going to stay at Apache Campgrounds for 1 night as our rental doesn't start until October 1st and there was a geocaching meeting we wanted to attend so we could see all our friends. We got there about noon and got set up and had lunch. Then we went out to find 2 geocaches as we wanted the meeting to be our 1900th find and we needed 2 more to make that happen. One was located at the Heritage Shores Nature Park in Cherry Grove on top of the sign explaining about the park and the other was a Travel Bug Hotel located on a rug and carpet business along Sea Mountain Highway in Cherry Grove on the side of the businesses building. It really was a great cache and container as it was a security box that you needed a combination for in order to open it. After that we stopped at the rental office and settled up with them and found out a few things we needed to know. Then it was back to the coach for the afternoon and we watched TV and worked on the blog. We left for the meeting about 6:30, which was at the American Steak and Buffet, and everybody was quite surprised to see us when we walked in. We had a great dinner and lots of fun catching up with our friends. We left about 9:00 and drove back to the coach and Mom watched TV and I hit the hay. Mom did go to the hospital earlier in the day to check about volunteering and they welcomed her back with open arms and can't wait for her to start, which will be on Friday.
