Caching and On To CT 7/16-20/2009

Thursday we drove into Bennington again to do a few caches and work on another Moosetery cache. We did 3 caches first one in the woods in a bird house, one on a trail in the woods and the other in a light post near a hospital. Then it was on to another great Moose cache. We did all 8 stages of the tour taking pictures and getting the information we needed off the Moose. Then it was on back to the coach, log our caches and figure out the coords for the final stage of the Moose cache.
Friday we headed back to Bennington to find the final stage of the Moose cache which we did in about 10 minutes as it was hidden under a bridge along a walking taril. Then we did another 4 difficulty cache located in a alley in the downtown area. Then back to the coach for the rest of the day and dinner at the great dairy bar.
Saturday we hung around the coach for the day. We planned on going to the Arlington Fire Dept Field Days in the evening but when we went there all they had was a few rides for kids and a few games of chance. Food was pretty basic like hamburgs, hot dogs, sausage patty sandwich, fries, etc so we left and again ate at the dairy bar in town.
Sunday we packed up early and drove on to Lebanon, CT and our next stay at Lake Williams Campgrounds. We stopped at Chris's on the way and said hi and to let them know we were there. We couldn't check in until 3:00 so we left about 2:30, got there just about 3, got propane, unhooked the dolly and left it in a field and got all set up. By this time it was 5:00 so we decided to stay at the campgrounds for the evening.
Monday we went to Chris's house about 10:30 and spent the day there talking to them all and we even took a swim in the pool. We had a very nice steak dinner with corn and fresh tomatoes with mozzerella cheese. We left about 8:00 to come back to the coach for the evening.
Well that's about all to catch everybody up as to where we are and what we are doing so we will say until next time we love and miss you all. Mom & Dad
