A Great Wing Party & Not Much Else 2/13-15/2009

Friday didn't bring anything very exciting as I hung around the house and got ready for our wing party on Saturday night. Mom and Judy went to the store and picked up a few last minute things as I defrosted the wings and got the fryer ready.
Saturday Ed and I went down to Barefoot Landing and did our Battleship cache for the cache meeting on Saturday night just to check and see how long it will take us to do it and make sure all the coords and waypoints were right. We did find a few mistakes and got them all corrected as I had transposed a couple of numbers and used the wrong coords for the final cache location, but we got it all straightened out. Saturday night we had Gina, Steve, Ed, Liz, Bob, Doc, and Nancy over for wings and of course Judy was here also. Dock and Nancy brought some great little bite sized cheesecakes and some wine. Liz and Bob brought his famous "SMALL" fruit salad. We had hot, butter and garlic and parmesan cheese wings along with Moms famous potato salad (everybody seems to love it and for a good reason). We cooked 170 wings and really didn't have very many left at all as we think they were enjoyed by all. We had a GREAT time talking with everybody and all seemed to enjoy themselves. We got cleaned up, sat around and talked for awhile and everybody left about 10:00.
Sunday I stayed around the house and washed the coach off as we had another wind storm and it was covered in sand again. I cleaned the fry pot out and did a couple of odd jobs. Judy went to church and then after she got home her and Mom went to Market Commons and walked around and didn't get home until about 5:00. Judy again came back loaded down with packages, don't know where she is going to pack them to go home.
